The Clinical Massage Therapy Sciences Diploma Program Our AHS affiliate the American Medical Massage Association (AMMA) is pleased to offer the Clinical Massage Therapy Sciences program. This licensed program has three levels which range from entry level (no prior training required) to a post graduate diploma program for massage therapists seeking to extend their education beyond their initial 500 or more hours of training in massage therapy. Graduates of this AMMA program will receive a diploma in Clinical Massage Therapy Sciences and a school transcript issued by the American Medical Massage Association.
Lymphedema Technician Certification Program
The Lymphedema Technician Certification program is designed to interface with other AHS training programs in massage and manual therapy. The AMMA Lymphedema Technician program is a post graduate program for massage therapists seeking to extend their education beyond their initial 500 or more hours of training in massage therapy. Those completing this AMMA program will receive a certificate of completion as a Lymphedema Technician and qualify to take the optional certification exam.
Continuing Education Programs
Continuing Education is a requirement to maintain your AHS Association Membership and/or your NBCA Certification. Whether you need to fulfill 6, 12 or 18 continuing education units per year, the AHS affiliate associations provide CEU programs to help you keep your membership and/or certification current and in good standing.
